COMPETITION
We advise with regard to notification of the Competition Council of economic concentration, distribution contracts, notifications of the Competition Council re illegal state aid, illegal price controls, “dawn raids” issues, and investigations regarding the abuse of dominant positions.
We advised:
- British American Tobacco Romania, Coca-Cola Timisoara Bottling Enterprise, Elite Romania, Procter & Gamble Romania, Estee Lauder International, and Iams Europe with regard to notification requirements concerning their distribution contracts;
- producers of consumer goods, and foodstuffs regarding investigations by the Competition Council of Romania regarding pricing and distribution;
- a multinational pharmaceutical company with regard to a Competition Council investigation;
- an international oil and gas company re notifications of the Competition Council re illegal state aid, and illegal price controls;
- a multinational pharmaceutical company with regard to “dawn raids” issues.
