A.        TRADEMARKS

We advise on trademark registration, trademark searches, trademark due diligence, trademark oppositions, IPR purchase agreements, negotiation of software development and distribution agreements, web design agreements, trademark, patent, and copyright litigation, and unfair competition. The team coordinates successful campaigns against infringements of international trademarks.

We advised The Coca-Cola Company, Martini & Rossi, Procter & Gamble, Gucci, Ferrero, Medochemie, Hermes, Canadian Oxy Ltd., Elite Industries, Henkel, Iguacu de Cafe Soluvel, Petromin Inc., and Quark.

• Trademark acquisition

In 2002 – 2003, we advised The Coca-Cola Company, and Coca-Cola HBC Romania with regard to the trademark due diligence related to the acquisition of Dorna Apemin, a Romanian natural water company, which included the transfer of the biggest portfolio of national and international marks to date in Romania.

• Trademark litigation

We advised with regard to police investigations and seizures and destruction of counterfeited products, oppositions, contest applications, and court cases on behalf of Casio Computer, The Coca-Cola Company, Ferrero, Gucci, Hermes, Inditex, Martini & Rossi, Medochemie, Philips International, Pierre Cardin, Prada, and Yves Saint Laurent.

• Blue Fox Nedgraphics with regard to a IPR purchase Agreement.
