We advise on negotiations for long-term concessions, and leases of land, sale-purchase agreements, development of a logistical platforms, and industrial parks, greenfield development of industrial facilities, lease of office and residential property, mortgages, a design build operate agreement, construction agreements, condominium agreements, title and zoning, and dispute resolution issues.

We advised:

• Coca-Cola Bottling Enterprise of Bucharest in relation to concession of land for a “greenfield project” in the City of Ploiesti; this was the first long-term lease signed with a Municipality in post-communist Romania;

• Coca-Cola Bottling Enterprise of Timisoara in relation to a 99-year lease of land with an option to buy for a “greenfield project” in the City of Timisoara;

• Efes Breweries (Turkey) in relation to a concession of land for a “greenfield project” in the City of Ploiesti, that is the largest brewery in South-Eastern Europe;

• British American Tobacco in relation to a concession of land for a “greenfield project” in the City of Ploiesti;

• British American Tobacco in relation to leasing of storage facilities, and office space;

• Amoco Company in relation to long-term leases of plots of land with options to buy for the development of a gas station network;

• AB Electro-Invest (Sweden) in relation to the concession of land for the development, on a build-own-operate-transfer basis, of a co-generation (electric and district heating) station and all activities undertaken in connection therewith;

• Medochemie (Cyprus) in relation to the purchase of land for a “greenfield project”;

• Axis/Geodis (France) in relation with the development of a logistical platform (LPF) in the City of Pitesti (Romania);

• Embassy of the Netherlands in relation to the long term lease of the Embassy headquarters;

• Technophar Equipment and Service Ltd. in relation with a Construction Agreement regarding the building of a new plant.

• HB Professional Consult (Austria), with regard to the purchase of land for the development of a logistics park;

• Arvi & Co on taking security in the form of a land mortgage to secure credit supply deliveries;

• Timken Precision Components Europe S.A. re lease of plant premises;

• Technophar Equipment and Service Ltd. re purchase of residential apartments;

• City Capital Property Advisers re the purchase of 17 shopping centres, and an office building;

• Cyprus investors re several land purchase transactions;

• American Colony re several land purchase transactions, and the purchase of an office building;

• Israeli investors re several land purchase transactions;

• Canadian investor re several apartment purchases.

We also acted as counsel to Chemical Bank, the Canadian Embassy, Coca-Cola Romania, Pan American Airlines, Hilton, Merck, Medochemie, Mitsubishi Corporation, Motorola, Helbing, and Whirlpool Wizz Air Group, in connection with property title issues, leases, and purchases of office space.
