We advised on
satellite communications services to local TV stations, and supply of
location services via GPS and satellite. We advised on a bid for a GSM
license, equity participation and a loan made by an international
financial institution to a local joint venture for the manufacture of
telephone equipment. We further advised an investment fund re equity
participation in a non-voice data communications venture, a mobile
telephone operator re financing the acquisition of a cellular
telecommunications network equipment, and a non-voice data
communications subsidiary of a foreign telecommunications company re
operational licenses.
